1. About Quik
Quik is a technology platform that facilitates connections between passengers and independent drivers for transportation services. Unless otherwise stated, Quik does not directly provide every transportation service performed by independent drivers using the platform.

You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement and must provide accurate information when creating or using an account. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of Quik complies with applicable laws and regulations.
3. User Accounts
You may be required to create an account to use certain Quik services. You are responsible for keeping your account information accurate and for protecting your account credentials.
You must not share your account with another person or use another person's account without authorization.
4. Ride Bookings
Passengers may request rides through the Quik platform. Ride availability, estimated fares, pickup times, and other information may vary depending on location, demand, traffic, driver availability, and other factors.
A ride request may be accepted, cancelled, or unavailable depending on the circumstances of the request.
5. Fares and Payments
Fares and applicable charges may be displayed through the Quik platform before or during a ride. Prices may vary based on factors including distance, time, demand, route, waiting time, tolls, applicable taxes, and other applicable charges.
You agree to pay all applicable charges associated with your use of Quik services. Payment processing may be handled by third-party payment service providers.
6. Cancellations
Cancellation charges may apply in certain circumstances, including where a ride is cancelled after a driver has accepted the request or has travelled toward the pickup location. Any applicable cancellation terms or fees may be displayed through the platform.
7. Driver Responsibilities
Drivers using the Quik platform are responsible for complying with applicable laws, maintaining appropriate licences and permits, maintaining their vehicles in a safe condition, and providing services in a professional manner.
8. Passenger Responsibilities
Passengers must behave respectfully and lawfully. Passengers must not damage vehicles, threaten or abuse drivers, engage in unlawful conduct, or create unsafe conditions during a ride.
9. Prohibited Conduct
You must not:
- Use Quik for unlawful purposes.
- Provide false or misleading information.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the platform.
- Interfere with or disrupt the operation of Quik services.
- Use automated systems or methods to abuse the platform.
- Engage in harassment, threats, fraud, or abusive behaviour.
- Use the platform to distribute malicious software or harmful content.
10. Safety
Users should exercise reasonable care and judgment when using transportation services. If you believe there is an immediate danger or emergency, contact the appropriate emergency services or authorities.
11. Intellectual Property
The Quik name, logo, software, website, applications, designs, content, and related materials are owned by or licensed to Quik Platforms Limited and may be protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, or commercially exploit Quik materials without prior written permission.
12. Service Availability
We may modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue all or part of the Quik platform or services at any time. We do not guarantee that the platform will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or free from security vulnerabilities.
13. Disclaimer
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Quik services are provided on an "as available" basis. Quik does not guarantee that the platform will always meet your requirements or operate without interruption.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Quik Platforms Limited shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses arising from or related to your use of the platform, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
15. Account Suspension or Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to an account or services where we reasonably believe there has been a violation of these Terms, fraud, misuse, unlawful activity, safety concerns, or other conduct that may harm users or the platform.
